We are now looking for a Compliance Officer for a newly instated role in the Treasury Control and Compliance team.

What we do
Group Treasury is a global function within Group Finance. We support the Volvo Group in all countries where it is needed, with offices in Gothenburg, Singapore, Beijing, Greensboro and Curitiba.
Our mission is to secure the Group’s payment capability and proactively manage financial risks. Responsibilities include Group funding, liquidity management, FX operations, Group capital structure, rating analysis, financial infrastructure, adherence to Volvo Group Financial Risk Policy and other external regulatory requirements in the scope of Volvo Group Treasury responsibilities.
You will be a part of Treasury Control & Compliance which have the responsibility to measure, analyze and report on Group and Treasury financial risks and performance. We are a diverse and international team building on our differences. The pace is fast, the work is complex and the landscape everchanging, however we are in this together creating a supportive and stimulating environment. You will have the overall responsibility for Compliance within Group Treasury being able to take on a holistic approach adding value throughout the organization. Through this role you will also influence AML Policies for the Volvo Group.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Anti-Money Laundering (AML) within Group Treasury liaising with Group Compliance regarding Group AML Policies.
Coordinating the Know Your Customer (KYC) process.
Monitoring existing and upcoming external regulations impacting Group Treasury.
Risk Assessment and Internal Control.
Setting up and maintaining common processes ensuring adherence to Policies.
GDPR responsible for Group Treasury working closely with Group Compliance.

University degree in finance, law, or equivalent.
Previous experience from Compliance.
Having a holistic approach with the ability to see flows and setting up processes.
Proven communication and interpersonal skills, being fluent in English. Swedish is meriting.
Collaborative having the ability to work with all seniority levels.
Self-motivating, solutions orientated and willing to seek improvements.
Experience from Finance in general, and Treasury in particular, is meriting.
As a person you are driven, flexible, outgoing and positive with a growth mindset. You like challenges, are curious and motivated to learn and want to develop yourself. You are a self-starter, taking on responsibilities, being accountable and want to work in a flexible role.
