About this opportunity
Compliance Office has the group responsibility for the three compliance areas: Antitrust (compliance with competition law), Anti-corruption (compliance with corruption and bribery law) and anti-money laundering (compliance with AML laws).
The Compliance Office within GF Legal Affairs & Compliance develops and maintains Ericsson’s ethics and compliance program. The Compliance Office also supports compliance teams in the Market Areas or operational units, which are responsible for supporting and supervising the execution of the ethics and compliance program in all operating units and legal entities within the countries of responsibility.
The Compliance Officer Intake & Assessment, Allegation Management will initially report in the line organization to the Head of Allegation Management Assurance and eventually to the Head of Intake, as the organization is built up.
What you will do
Manage and mitigate compliance risk by supporting a speak up culture, handling allegations, working with reporters of concerns, collaborating with Corporate & Government Investigations and managing follow up of investigation-related remediation.
Ensure and enhance proper operations of Ericsson's Allegation Management Office, responsible for the logging, triaging, documentation and follow-up of allegations of potential breaches of the Code of Business Ethics, other policies, directives or law.
The day-to-day responsibilities include amongst others:
Initial triage of incoming allegations in Ericsson’s Allegation Management Process
Assess cases based on Ericsson’s internal assessment process and criteria
Identify issues, prioritize matters, and identify allegations
Communicate with reporters
Point of Contact for internal stakeholders such as Government & Corporate Investigations, Group Security, People Function, Compliance, EHS amongst others.
Maintain a sound understanding of the business activities and applicable laws and regulations.
Lead in developing a culture of compliance, setting an example for transparency and promoting an environment where speaking up in a professional manner is encouraged.
Support top and middle management in setting an adequate tone from the top, achieving a “walk the talk” approach to their business and establishing compliance and integrity as fundamental company values.
Manage not only internal stakeholders (e.g., leaders, function heads, sourcing, ICS, legal and HR colleagues, compliance network) but also external stakeholders, such as customers and other third parties in relation to compliance demands as needed.
You will bring
Strong experience working within the compliance area, including anti-bribery and corruption compliance experience with a particular focus on allegation management and investigations.
Relevant university degree.
High level of integrity with character consistent with Ericsson values of respect, professionalism and perseverance; must be empathetic and willing to listen.
Ability to work and navigate cross-functionally.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
Know-how of Ericsson organization and operations.
Independent, goal-oriented and systematic way of working.
Fluent in English.
