Compliance Officer, Luxembourg

Söderberg & Partners Asset Management S.A is a UCITS fund management company in Luxembourg. We are looking for someone who wants to grow and take on responsibility within compliance and legal matters.

In the role of Compliance Officer you need to be analytical and work in a structured way with complex issues, under your own responsibility, and reporting directly to management and the board. You should have an interest in the finance industry and the connection between the regulatory framework and the business. You should also be interested in working with risk assessments, controls and reporting. Since we have a small staff we would also appreciate if you could help with other legal matters, such as drafting contracts with clients and service providers.

Your tasks:

- Identify and assess regulatory risks in the daily operations
- Plan and perform controls and checks of the operations
- Provide counsel to the business side in regulatory matters
- Provide education to the rest of the staff


- Have a degree in law, economics, finance or a similar subject
- Have a few years of experience from the financial sector, preferably within compliance or risk management
- Inspire confidence and show integrity with a positive attitude
- Be meticulous and driven with a strong sense of ethics
- Be capable of understanding the business and varying topics
- Appreciate independent work in a changing environment
- Be able to assist in legal matters
- Be fluent in English, both written and spoken

All written communication, such as reports and agreements are in English, but understanding Swedish is an advantage. Considering that the official languages in Luxembourg are French and German it is also a plus if you know any of those languages.
