Your role
Saab is growing rapidly, with strong sales around the world. With this growth, it is paramount that we meet our customers' demands both with regards to deliveries but also when it comes to securing regulatory compliance. To ensure we keep up with legislators around the world, the Business Risk Management department is expanding its team and is now looking for a Compliance Officer.
This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects, ensuring Saab's capability to adhere to customer requirements thus mitigating business risk and ensuring coherence across Saab's Business Areas. The Business Risk Management department is a newly created corporate unit with a growing team and start-up mentality. In your role as Compliance Officer, you will be part of a dynamic and creative team, which operates in an inspiring and challenging environment.
This role demands a blend of project management, strategic thinking and attention to detail. Responsibilities include overseeing implementation of customer requirements, hands-on business risk analysis, applying strategies for mitigation and awareness training across Saab's Business Areas in Sweden. In particular, the Compliance Officer will play a crucial role in securing Saab's overall U.S. regulatory posture by identifying and driving efforts to mitigate compliance related risk and implementing corresponding audit programs.
In addition to the U.S. regulatory framework (FAR/DFARS) other frameworks (as justified by organizational needs) may become applicable within the scope of the role.

Experience in the defense industry or a related field is a plus but not essential. To be successful in this role we see that you have:
* Bachelor's degree in business, law or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certification is a plus
* Ability to drive an independent workstream in the context of a broader project
* Great communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and work effectively with cross-functional teams
* Have worked in global regulatory environments. Knowledge and experience of audit techniques and trade- and regulatory compliance is a bonus.
* Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, in English
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
You will be based at any of our Saab sites in Sweden. The role also allows for some flexibility to work from home, but you will be required to be in Linköping regularly. The team works in an international context, which may involve travelling both domestically and internationally.
