Our supplier management team is currently seeking a Compliance & Sustainability Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing project execution in relation to legal compliance and sustainability concerns.

As the supplier management Project Manager, you will work in a dynamic environment, ensuring compliance with legal legislations (EU, US FDA, China) related to material parts in food contact (mpfc) and PFAS. Your main responsibilities will include overseeing two major projects. The first project focuses on securing compliance with global and regional legislations for parts in food contact. The second project involves identifying parts containing PFAS and finding alternative compounds to replace them. In this role, you will collaborate with various functions within Supplier Management and work closely with decision-making stakeholders in the Business.

Your daily responsibilities include:
- Working closely with the supplier management team and business stakeholders to identify, plan, and implement activities that ensure legal compliance from suppliers.
- Creating an overall project plan, breaking down activities, and setting timelines and objectives for each activity.
- Coordinating with managers in supplier management and engineering to secure necessary resources for the project.
- Assisting assigned resources in their daily work and monitoring the progress and completion of activities.
- Leading risk assessments in the project and determining actions to mitigate those risks.
- Supporting the main project manager in representing supplier management in the mpfc and PFAS core project teams.
- Providing regular project reports to key stakeholders, including tracking the main deliverables in terms of time, cost, and quality.
- Participating in supplier discussions to execute activities alongside supplier managers and engineering.
- Monitoring project KPIs, such as project results and the compliance status of suppliers and materials.

Requirements:
- Technical education or relevant experience to comprehend discussions related to parts design and legal compliance
- Minimum 5 years of experience leading projects across different departments in multinational companies
- Ability and interest in understanding details to identify bottlenecks and critical activities
- Experience in risk management
- Proficient in structuring project planning and breaking down activities
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Fluent in English

Meritorious:
- Prior experience in working with legal compliance matters, procurement, or engineering
