Do you have experience from working with components and have strong collaboration skills? Then this could be something for you! We are now looking for a Component Engineer to join our team at the HQ in Lund.


Your future team
We are a dedicated team, responsible for different areas, all within electronic. Our responsibility is to ease the life of our HW designers in their daily work, by providing smart tools and programs and ways of working.


What will you do as a Component Engineer?
The work task is to be the connection between component world and the electronic engineers, within the many different teams and departments in the company. You will have an important role within the R&D departments, to secure that we develop and produce with the correct components to follow company regulations. Our production flora is broad, so we need tools that supports the different demands and challenges our engineers and customers face. Your job is to implement new components and maintain our systems with correct information. This will be done in close cooperation with many different stakeholders, such as electronic engineers, sourcing, environmental team, suppliers etc.

As a Component Engineer you will:

* Register new components in systems
* Assist and support engineers and others with choice of components
* Obtain all necessary information to secure the purchasing, environmental and production requirements that Axis Communication and our costumers have
* Register all relevant data in our database
* Collaborate with suppliers to future-secure our products
* Develop processes for maintenance, as well as facilitate future needs


Who are we looking for?
As a Component Engineer we see that you either have several years of experience and that you have worked for a while or that you are relatively new, working as an engineer. As a person we see that you are accurate, analytical, and logical. You are structured in your way of working and you have a passion for providing the best support for your costumers. It comes natural for you to be collaborative and clear, both within the team and with different stakeholder. You read, speak, and write English fluently (Swedish is a plus).


If you have working knowledge of below, it is a plus:

* PLM /PDM system (we have Windchill)
* Library management within electronics
* Elektronic assembly/production
* Support experience
