Component Engineer

For our Team in Vasteras, we are currently looking to recruit a:

Component Engineer within High Voltage Equipment.

The Component Engineer will take the full technical responsibility of a specific component area and its related suppliers. The role can be seen as a "project manager" for the given component - this requires drive and governance.

The Component Engineer will define the technical specifications based on the Customer expectations & internal PPC requirements, and make sure that the component fulfills these requests. You are technical managing the component during the complete life cycle (design, release and maintain).

It is a key objective of the component engineer to interact with different internal and external stakeholders, therefore you need to be motivated by combining technical knowledge with great interpersonal skills.

The selected candidate will be welcomed to a team of both junior and senior members, with various backgrounds and experiences.

Qualifications

As our preferred candidate you have:

· knowledge of high voltage products

· a bachelor degree or Master in Engineering

· fluency in English and a willingness to learn Swedish is required

· a communicative way and great interpersonal skills

· knowledge and experience of QA tools such as FMEA, Control plans or similar is a plus
