Component Engineer - Stockholm

Assignment Description:
We are looking for an experienced Component Engineer to build cross-functional and empowered teams and an agile environment where we learn every day, challenge each other and give continuous feedback.
We are now looking for a SW engineer to join our 48V battery team on its journey taking our power supply solution to the next level.
What you'll do:
● Ensure the delivery and quality of supplier-developed software in time and at the right cost.
● Be a central figure for defining, agreeing on and following up on product requirements and project deliveries – in collaboration with project management and suppliers.
● Build strong and fruitful relationships – both with suppliers and internal product team and work in close collaboration with several expert competences.
● Lead component design and release for transmission shafts, bearings and bushings to meet program milestones, QCWF objectives, and subsystem compatibility requirements for current and future programs
● Handle component changes due to obsolescence or supply shortages - Assist with location of component sources vendors and manufacturers, locate alternate sources, find components substitutions along with qualification strategy.
● Creation and development of complex software design both in natural language and modelling.
● Design, evaluate, and qualify components to make sure they meet the product needs.
● Analyse test results and author test reports.
Who you are:
● Possess analytical skills that you have successfully applied to complex engineering tasks in the past.
● Proficiency in verbal and written communication skills of English language.
● Hold B.Sc. or equivalent within Mechatronics, Computers, Electrical, Mechanical, Engineering Physics, or similar area of education. An M.Sc. is extra meritorious.
● Experience from system engineering, software design, ECU base tech, in-vehicle communication, diagnostics, AUTOSAR and ISO 26262.
