Role description
In your role as the Component Engineer for High Pressure Fuel Systems, you will have a crucial responsibility in coordinating and spearheading the development of components for ignition and high-pressure fuel systems in collaboration with our esteemed suppliers. You will be accountable for ensuring timely deliveries that meet technical requirements and allocated budgets.

Key responsibilities
• Manage and supervise the development of components for the Ignition and High-Pressure Fuel Systems in partnership with suppliers.
• Assess proposals from suppliers for technical solutions and endorse technical documentation, encompassing drawings, 3D models, and technical specifications.
• Initiate and supervise the validation procedure to ensure the components meet specific requirements and operate effectively within the system application.
• Proactively handle and correct deviations from established standards.
• Maintain transparent communication with the project team and the organizational line, ensuring consistent updates and forecasts are provided.

About you
• Holds a university degree in engineering or possesses equivalent experience based on professional background.
• Substantial involvement in the development of automotive hardware and control systems.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English.
• Able to provide documented evidence of experience with CATIA V5.
• Demonstrates a strong enthusiasm for comprehending technical aspects, including components and their functionalities.
• Desirable to have a understanding of combustion engine systems.
