Would you like to act as business partner to the SCO Supplier Management - Component Management organisation?
You will be a member of our international team, working in a strong cooperation with suppliers providing value to Tetra Pak's customers through focus on Performance (Quality, Cost & Delivery), Standardization and People Engagement.
Within Tetra Pak Supply Chain Operations, the Capital Equipment (CE SCO) is responsible for the manufacture and supply of filling machines and distribution equipment from receipt of order until performance is achieved at the customer's site. Component Management's role is to provide a world class component assortment and contracted supplier base by continuously work with optimizing quality, lead time & cost, driving assortment and supplier strategy through standardization and consolidation, being a trusted partner, give guidance in component & supplier choices.
In this position, as Component Manager, you will optimize commercial performance (Quality, Lead-time, Cost) of products in scope and part of centre of purchasing excellence supporting Colleagues and Suppliers. Reporting to Director, Supplier Management, your major responsibilities are: Develop and implement commodity strategies for Component suppliers;
Secure Risk Management of component suppliers following the process established; Propose business improvement solutions
Ensure guidelines and templates of contracting with chosen Supplier; Secure agreement coverage for procurement
Own and manage commercial supplier relations for Component Suppliers - globally; Secure and Maintain a supplier base inline with business requirements; Secure Performance improvements - quality, lead time, cost are executed by Supply Managers
Ensure compliance vs. Contract and Commodity Strategies
Secure infrastructure to Store and Share data properly
Consolidate & Monitor, Analyse and Report business results
Secure team members follow the process for Sourcing, Contracting and Supplier base management activities
Consolidate report results according to defined instructions and procedures; Secure commercial information upload for procurement; Secure the consistency of our products and conformity to regulatory and legal requirements; Secure having the needed quantity and competences of resources in place to manage expected operations
Kvalifikationer
To be successful in this role you have a University degree ideally in business or Engineering. You are fluent in English both written and spoken; knowledge of other foreign languages is regarded as a merit.You have at least five-seven years of technical and/or commercial experience from similar tasks. A strong experience in People management with a multicultural team is considered mandatory.
The position demands a high level of commercial and negotiation skills. As a person you are a driver and decisive with a structured holistic view. You have strong communication skills and have the ability to create long-term partnerships. You are capable of using informal authority to motivate people and to influence at all levels in the organisation; you inspire other people with your enthusiasm, exchanging information and supporting colleagues to achieve the goals.
You have a systematic approach to problem definition and problem solving and you can transfer mid/short strategies and plans into actions. You will be expected to lead initiatives and drive activities independently. The job will require intense international travelling.
