At Thermal Management we are responsible for developing and maintaining optimized vehicle cooling and heating systems for all types of propulsion installations for all truck brands within the Volvo Group. We own the strategies for our technical areas and are accountable for securing the quality of the solutions that we deliver to our customers worldwide. We are a diverse, global and highly qualified team of engineers with extensive experience from developing vehicle thermal management systems. Your contribution
Your role as Component Owner for the Cooling Module will be to lead the development of heat exchanger and cooling module solutions globally for all truck brands and markets within the Volvo Group. You will perform this work in close cooperation with our suppliers and colleagues representing different functions in our internal cross functional network.
By applying a strong customer focus you will follow up and secure the quality on the market for your component area. You will also be responsible for driving the strategic roadmap for the cooling modules to meet future demands for cooling of all driveline technologies such as diesel, fuel cell as well as battery electric vehicles.
You will lead the cooling module technology area with great passion by applying and continuously developing your technical skills as well as your ability to make a team collaborate efficiently to reach a common goal.

Qualifications
MSc in Mechanical, Design or Energy Engineering or similar
Minimum five years of experience from development of thermal system hardware components within the automotive or transportation industry
Experience from supplier management and the APQP process
Solid knowledge in mechanics, thermodynamics and heat exchanger technology
Structured way of working and ability deliver on complex tasks with excellence
You are a true team player, self-driven with positive, global and problem solving mind-set and you possess excellent communication skills
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
