Arbetsbeskrivning
Who are we?
There are currently 9 of us in the Electrical Components Team (BF74323 Electrical Actuators and sensors) and we are looking to strengthen the HMI Controls team with a curious and driven Electrical HW Component owner. In the team we work through concept phase up to serial production and maintenance, designing, developing and securing the quality of components such as stalks, levers, switches and rotary knobs for our trucks.
Who are you?
You are an open-minded person with a positive attitude who enjoys teamwork but at the same time, you can work independently and take responsibility for your own deliveries.
High focus on being action-oriented and self-driven. You have experience from areas such as electrical and/or visible components, cross functional coordination or Agile methods and way of working.
What will you do?
You will play a key role in the development of new HMI-hardware for the trucks in the Volvo Group.
You will manage complex components and/or a set of less complex components. Have the operational responsibility in the relationship with the supplier, requirements on the components and managing the work distribution. You will be part of recommending the supplier, evaluating components, and securing the cross-functional and business anchoring with external as well as internal stakeholders. Along with our buyers you will be the point of contact for our suppliers regarding specifications and functionality. You are driving your component all through the development process.
Depending on the current project portfolio and project phases, the focus for the work will vary but the main responsibility with the role is to:
Initiate and develop design concepts to meet objectives set by project and initiatives
Be responsible for the technical requirements and participate in development of hardware together with our suppliers
Create, modify, and release product documentation in the Volvo systems (Kola / JIRA / SE-TOOL etc)
Resolve quality issues in projects, in factories or on aftermarket
We are looking forward to your application!
