Are you up for playing an important role for our electrification journey, working with thermal management of electric motors and batteries? Then the role as Component responsible Hoses at the Thermal Management ART within propulsion installation is the place for you to prosper! 

The Team
We are a diverse team consisting of around 10-12 colleagues working in an Agile way, managing parts and systems such as rubber hoses, plastic hoses, quick connector clamps and clips.  We strive to challenge and support each other and expect you to do the same to bring out the best from each and one of us. In this role and within our team  you will get the opportunity to broaden your knowledge and personal skills!   

What you will do
You will be our specialist in hoses, both rubber and plastic, quick-connectors, and clamps. Your tasks will be to write specifications, test methods and to have a focus on the quality of the parts as well as finding solutions to technical issues.  We work in a cross-functional environment and with the full support from your team members, CAD engineer and Lead engineer, you will manage and coordinate the development work of hoses by keeping track of time plans, deliveries, reporting system and issue management.   

As our hoses are subjected to final assembly you will be deeply involved in the interchanges of our different C-plants and manufacturing engineering. You will be working in a close collaboration and in good dialogue with our suppliers, manufacturing, and purchase etc. and travel to our suppliers and vehicle plants to discuss technical solutions and related issues to manufacturing and assembly. 

Competence is Important, but personality is key
As a person we believe you are always eager to learn, that your positive energy is contagious and that your action-oriented nature leads you to continuously improve both yourself and your colleagues. 
You have minimum a bachelor’s degree within mechanics or equivalent work experience, and a couple of year experience from detailed design work preferable within the automotive industry. 
Experience of designing and developing rubber and plastic parts, material theory, extrusion molding knowledge is meritorious.
