You will join our Computational Design Community
The successful candidate will serve as a key member in our community for Computational Design, a multidisciplinary group aiming to push forward the boundaries of design technology through technical assistance in projects, innovation, knowledge sharing, and community engagement. We are developing standards and guidelines to define best practices for working with computational design and for the implementation in projects.
Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:
Sharing knowledge and engaging our computational design community through activities such as webinars, newsletters, hackathons, and other related activities
Assisting projects within computational design
Assisting development and R&D projects
Active part in developing and documenting our computational design best practices and guidelines
Take part in project tender discussions and give input on digital/computational design workflows in projects
Informing our community with the latest updates and research on computational design



Your starting point for constant growth
From the moment you join Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development so that you grow with the company. For this role, we believe your starting point is:
Master’s degree or above in Architecture or Engineering with a background in Computer Science or a related field with a focus on computational design methods
Extensive experience in using Rhino, Grasshopper, and/or Revit, and Dynamo
Experience with at least one of the below mentioned areas:
Computational optimization
Automated engineering analysis
Generative design
Differential geometry
Moderate coding experience in c# or other programming languages including experience with .NET
Advantageous with skills in web development, specifically using node, react and three.js
Experience using git and related tools such as Github, Gitlab and/or similar tools in the context of collaboration in a development project

Personal qualities that will help you succeed in this role include:
Excellent interpersonal skills, confident, professional and able to negotiate positive outcome with stakeholders and staff when required
Ability to work on own initiative, but also seek assistance when required
Demonstrate pride in their work, through high quality and accurate timely delivery
Ability to work collaboratively with others to form strong positive working relationship
Ability to organize and prioritize workload to ensure timescales are met
Willingness to develop personal skills and basic knowledge in other disciplines
Willingness to share knowledge and help others in their development
