POSITION OVERVIEW

Under the direction of the Local Engaged Staff (LES) Systems Manager, act as primary network systems administrator and systems analyst for the Embassy's unclassified networks, including support for Microsoft Exchange, SMS, SQL, IIS, Symantec Anti-Virus (SAV), and all network hardware and firewalls.Self-responsibility is required for both routine and critical network administration tasks.Provides equipment maintenance, help desk assistance and user application support.

Major duties include the following:
1.System Administration - 40%
2.Security/Anti-Virus Administration - 25%
3.Configuring, loading, and Maintaining Software and Hardware - 15%
4.User Support Services - 20%

Beskrivning av kvalifikationer:
QUALIFICATIONS:

A university degree in computer science, equivalent combination of four years technical training or relevant work experience is required.Preference will be given to applicants with at least two years experience as a systems administrator supporting a minimum 200-node computer network.CompTia Network+ and A+ certifications are recommended but not required.Level IV fluency in written and spoken English and Swedish is required.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

1.This position is available to Swedish nationals, permanent legal residents, American citizens with permanent residence permits in Sweden, and Eligible Family Members.
2. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
3.Applicant must pass a limited security investigation.
