SICK IVP in Linköping develops Machine Vision solutions for industrial production and quality assurance. Our 3D imaging technology is the global leader and the latest 3D camera for industrial applications was awarded with the internationally recognized Vision Innovation prize in 2010. We are a part of the German sensor company SICK with more than 6,500 employees in 40 countries. SICK IVP is a competence center for Machine Vision within SICK, and we perform research, product development, product management and marketing. We are currently 55 employees. The years 2008, 2011 and 2012, we were ranked as one of the best workplaces in the international employee survey in Great Place to Work.

Dina huvudsakliga arbetsuppgifter:

Our 2D and 3D cameras for industrial inspectionare filledwith algorithms for machine vision, image processing,pattern matching,objectclassification,measurement and camera calibration.For our algorithm team, we are looking for a senior computer vision specialist who masters the whole chain from creative algorithm prototyping to dedicated implementations.

The specialist we seek will research new algorithms, work with product development, and find specialized solutions for challenging customer applications.Collaboration with academic and industrial partners, both nationally and internationally, is also an important part of the work.

Din Profil:

You have an MSc or a PhDwith specialization in computer vision or image analysis. You can apply your theoretical knowledge to find innovative and practical solutions, and you are well updated on the latest technology and research findings.You enjoy algorithm prototyping in Matlab and you also have plenty of experience of translating your algorithms to C/C++ for real-time applications. Experience with embedded system development is a merit.

We are working on the international arena and in close cooperation with the SICK headquarters in south Germany.Good language skills are therefore required.
