Concept Engineer

The role:
As Concept Engineer at FlexLink, you will lead the development of solutions and proposals for customers in which material handling solutions and palletizing systems for industrial automation are delivered. You will act as the technical responsible to guide and propose the best solutions for the customer’s applications.
You will:
Maintain and develop customer relation at an early stage of the sales process working close together with our sales engineers
Work with proposals and quotations for our customers
Develop factory layouts based on our unique and proven solutions
Do conceptual design of new solutions for our customers
Make calculations, visualizations and simulations to verify functionality and performance needed
Make accurate cost-estimations and time-schedules

You will report to our Country Manager for the Nordic market, working with clients in the food, pharma, automotive and tissue industries.


This is you:
To be successful in this role, we believe that you have a higher education in Engineering or Industry Automation (or equal). You also have:
3+ years’ experience of layout engineering or mechanical design
Experience of working closely with customers and end-users
Fluent English & Swedish, in both writing and speech
Experience in using CAD-tools
Experience of doing visualizations



We believe that you are based somewhere around the Västra Götaland region, within commuting distance from our offices in Gothenburg. We see that you have a passion for machines and mechanical solutions with the automation needed to make it run. You also have great communication skills and a service minded attitude.
