Concept Engineer

Job description
You will be part of the development team located within the Chassis & Electrical Drive unit at our client and be responsible for the development of suspension platform of future vehicles. As part of your role, you will collaborate closely with the Wheel Suspension team to analyze and develop both current and future platform concepts. You will also represent your system area in packaging meetings, ensuring that all aspects are effectively integrated and aligned with project goals.

Responsibilities
• Create industrializable concept- and platform parts in CAD
• Create and execute kinematic models for package studies
• Perform K&C analysis on suspension layouts
• Perform FEM analysis on suspension components
• Create and maintain structure in Team Center

Qualifications
Degree in mechanical-, mechatronics-or automotive engineering
Minimum 3-year experience from Chassis System Development
Deep knowledge and understanding of wheel suspension technical development
Experience of attribute balancing (mainly NVH, Vehicle Dynamics, Durability, Corrosion and Brakes)
Preferable with experience of multiple suspension systems layouts
Preferable with experience of motorsport projects
Good knowledge of PDM systems, preferable Teamcenter
Good software knowledge in MS Office, Catia V5, Catia V5 DMU Kinematics, TeamCenter, Adams, Ansys, Matlab Simulink.
