We are now looking for an experienced Concept Engineer (CE) who would like to contribute to the development of our future safety products toward our world-leading goals. As a person, you see possibilities and solutions instead of problems and difficulties.

What you’ll do 

You will work in the early phases of the development of our new cars where the job is highly dynamic. The work is performed in cross-functional teams with many interfaces within the company. Therefore you need to have good social skills and ability to communicate your ideas really well to various levels of stakeholders. Your role is to provide technical input to other parts of the vehicle to optimize the design and the performance of our safety products. You will also be part of our Advanced Engineering projects that finally will end up in our future cars.

Do you fit the profile?

You are an experienced CE and you have been working in this role for some years. Preferably you have previous experience in some of the following areas: Instrument Panel, Interior trim parts, Body in White, Front seats. You are also experienced in the agile way of working. 

•    Master of Science or Bachelor of Science or similar experience.
•    Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
•    Very skilled in Catia.
•    Good knowledge of different Volvo systems (e.g. Team Center, FMEA etc.).
•    Driving license.
