Configuration Management Engineer for our location in Stockholm, Sweden.


Purpose of the job
The main purpose of this position is to plan, integrate, develop, drive and monitor the application of the Alstom Configuration Management process and verify that the change implementation is properly applied, and that Alstom Configuration Management Principles are rigorously respected. You will also implement the integrity of the Alstom Configuration and Change Management process and its governance and monitor all functions involved in the Configuration and Change Management process.

Key responsibilities:
Contributing to CM network including all involved functions in the Configuration and Change Management process.
Be responsible for delivery of Software and document packages to customer.
Set up and run the change control Board meeting.
Supporting Configuration and Change Management in all required levels of the organization, within the project team, and providing adequate training.
Maintaining the interfaces between Configuration and Change Management process, e.g. by ensuring that a Change Management process is in place on the projects from day 1.
Providing support that related processes, tools, policies and procedures are executed to cover the whole Configuration and Change Management process chain with agreed transfer mechanisms of data between tools, if necessary.
Creation and provision of Configuration and Change Management deliverables.


Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in relevant areas and proven record of relevant experience required in a similar role.
Profound understanding of Configuration and Change Management.
Possess expert knowledge in the practices of Configuration and Change Management and in principles of Business Process Management.
Experience of ERTMS or other safety-critical systems is highly valued.
Good knowledge is required about:
MS Office.
Planning Hardware, Software & document releases.
Process operation.
Build Management activities.
Tools: IBM Rational - CM Synergy & Change Synergy, DOORS, Hydra (desirable).
Open minded, easily adaptable, positive attitude towards new challenges.
Self-propelled, to find solutions or answers for your tasks.
English and Swedish at a fluent level are mandatory for this role.
