Would you like to work with ITSM Data team? We are now looking for a Configuration Manager to contribute to the CMDB data quality and effective use of tools integrated to CMDB. This will be permanent position.

About this opportunity
Welcome to the CMDB team in Process Governance and Tools. As the Configuration Manager, you’ll play a valuable and important role in maintenance of our ITIL based ITSM processes.
What you’ll be doing:
* Daily operational maintenance of the BMC Discovery tool and its integration with Helix CMDB
* Review, analyze, coordinate and maintain efficient operations between BMC Discovery and Helix CMDB and: BMC_Discovery and Helix CMDB monitoring
* BMC_Discovery and Helix CMDB troubleshooting
* BMC_Discovery and Helix CMDB housekeeping
* BMC_Discovery automation and workflow development into Helix CMDB
* Configuration management data quality review
* Analyze and solve incidents and requests related to the BMC_Discovery tool and Helix CMDB
* Contact data owners for CI architectural solutions and their implementations into Helix CMDB when needed
* Identify and develop innovative solutions to customer requirements
* Identify and resolves technical and business problems
* Provide demonstrations and presentations for BMC_Discovery and Helix CMDB. Perform necessary equipment set-up and installation
* Explain product capabilities, limitations and implementation
* Writing new patterns

Your experience and background:
* Professional and hands on experience in maintaining BMC Discovery and CMDB Helix
* Experience managing an enterprise deployment of BMC Discovery
* Experience building automations/workflows/integrations between tools
* Experience driving upgrades to the BMC Discovery tool
* Experience in scripting/writing patterns (BMC Discovery and SQL)
* Knowledge of architecture and configurations of IT infrastructure components
* Experience in ITSM processes and understanding of ITIL methodology (SACM)
* Experience working with ITSM tools (Remedy, ServiceNow, Helix)
* High skills in communication
* Fluency in written and spoken English
* Familiar with Agile methodology
