We are looking for our Connectivity Product Owner, this is a new role within the Connectivity and SW logistics organization in UPP. Connectivity to the machine is an area that is growing whether it be to another machine, a smart attachment, the cloud or your smart-phone.


Main Responsibilities:
As a Connectivity Product Owner you will in close co-operation with Technology, IT and Sales drive and lead work connected to connectivity to and from the machine.
Responsible for the Connectivity Roadmap for VCE (e.g. 5G, Wifi, NFC etc.)
Collaborate on plans with other BA to drive synergies within the Volvo group
Be a driving force in the cross functional team for Connectivity
On connectivity enablers safeguard the end to end functionality. Have the holistic view and responsibility
Analyze requests for development of new Connectivity solutions
Provide technical support as a subject matter expert

You will contribute with your competence and expertise, and collaborate cross functionally in your network. Besides the operational responsibility, you are expected to question the status quo, look for continuous improvements in ways of working and inspire and motivate your peers.


Experience and Qualifications:
Master or Bachelor degree within engineering or IT
More than 5 years of experience in related engineering areas

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Structured way of working
Ability to work and to manage tasks independently
Technical knowledge on construction equipment
Good communication skills, networking cross functionally
Change management skills, drive for process improvements
Fluent English skills in writing and speaking
