Product Readiness & Site Concepts is responsible to maintain and improve Vestas' quality standards and to enable a flawless installation and commissioning process. New product implementation is as well a core function of the department. Being an interface between Construction Site Operations, Vestas Power Solutions and Global QHSE department, the team is providing solutions to the relevant stakeholders to reduce cost of poor quality and by that to increase customer satisfaction. Knowledge sharing, interaction with various stakeholders and a high level of safety and quality awareness are key aspects of the work in the Product Readiness & Site Concepts team.


Responsibilities
Implementation of corrective actions and solutions related to the WTG in cooperation with Vestas Power Solutions, Technical Sales Support, and platform management
Act as a point of contact and trainer for Commissioning Supervisors and Commissioning Teams
Interface between Service and Construction to gather and distribute current quality and safety information to enable effective knowledge sharing on site
Support on onsite issues and process improvements
Join prototype testing and share information with PR engineering
Continues reporting of findings towards back office
Join factory visits to get an understanding of new product


Qualifications
Bachelor/Master ́s degree in Engineering (preferred) - or an apprenticeship in the field of Electrical, Mechanical or similar
Comprehensive knowledge about site processes, commissioning processes and installation manuals
1 to 2 years' experience in Construction in the renewable energy/wind industry
Experience in Commissioning of Vestas Wind Turbines
MS Office: creating presentations in PPT and presenting to relevant stakeholders
Fluent English skills

Additional information
Primary work location: Hamburg, Germany; but the right candidate can also be based in Denmark, Sweden, or the Netherlands.
This position is planned as an interlink between the back-office site support and on-site team. Thus, the flexibility to travel and working on site is a requirement. You will be expected to travel approximately 180 days of travel per year.
