Our first aircraft is the ES-19, a nineteen-passenger airliner with an operating range of 400 km. The ES-19 is a fully electric aircraft, and our goal is to have the aircraft certified for commercial operation by 2026.

Role Overview
We are now establishing and building our new HeadQuarter, production facility, logistic center and more, and are looking for a Construction Manager to run the project together with our construction partners. The Construction Manager reports to the Head of Production Organisation and has responsibility for the internal planning, scheduling, specification and delivery, coordination with partners, construction companies, architects & authorities and for facilitating the full construction project of the company.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of the building process.
- Be the coordinator between partners and Heart during the construction project and stakeholder alignments
- Develop plans and specifications, establish timetables, and cost estimation
- Manage the building process assuring that it is in compliance with environmental and safety standards
- Liaise with internal areas to define the scope and construction subcontractors
- Negotiating with contractors and suppliers
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
- Manage the financial plan and consistently evaluate the project budget
- Manage and issue change orders to subcontractors
- Manage the procurement and installation of the equipment under Heart 's responsibility
- Reporting regularly on progress and possible deviations to the stakeholders
Qualifications & Experience
- Documented experience in construction project management and construction of industries
- Knowledge about industrial flow
- Experience with contract and vendor management
- Knowledge of Swedish construction industry standards, regulatory aspects, building codes, equipment and methods
- Expertise with reading & understanding construction documents, drawings and specifications
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills in English
- Eagerness to work with others
- Passion for aircraft and Heart’s mission
The ideal candidate would have
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Ability to think creatively and to provide non-standard and innovative solutions
