We are looking for several Construction Project Engineers to join our Construction team in Skellefteå. By joining Northvolt, you will play an important part in building for one of the first large scale European battery factories.
In this role, you will work closely with the Construction Project Manager and other functions, as well as with external parties. It is important that you have a good history in planning, forecasting, and meeting deadlines. Further, you should have profound knowledge of HSE and Quality requirements and a high standard for your work and your organization.
The person we are looking for is strongly goal-oriented, curious, always eager to learn and a team player. We believe you have a background in engineering studies combined with site construction projects. You are naturally a great communicator, keeping a good overview in complex project set-ups and a positive "make-it-work" attitude.

Northvolt is a fast-paced organisation and therefore we need someone with prior experience in complex industrial construction projects.
Construction experience working across Mechanical, Electrical and Structural disciplines will be highly regarded.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Collaborate with the Construction PM to oversee the resolution of complex construction issues .
Provide engineering expertise to the Northvolt construction execution discipline supervisors.
Monitor the progress, ensuring project plan is moving forward to meet deadlines, foreseeing eventual impacts on the critical path.
Interact on regular basis with the contractors to ensure that the installation is in accordance with agreed schedule and meets the contractual obligations.
Work with the design and interface coordination manager to coordinate the multi-discipline design, construction, and installation activities
Prepare weekly and monthly reports while also presenting progress to the management team

Skills & Requirements
We believe that you have :
A degree in Engineering or other relevant university degree
Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience (7-10 for Senior) working on complex construction projects
Previous experience with leading a team is strongly desirable (for Senior)
Previous experience with end-to-end project delivery, from Basic Engineering through to commissioning, completions and handover is strongly desirable
Previous experience with large scale industrial projects is strongly desirable
Experience in supporting other project functions with input, including estimating, scheduling, HSE requirements
Strong knowledge of scheduling tools, specifically Primavera P6
Fluency in English both written and oral, Swedish is a plus
Must be proficient in MS Office
