Construction Services Purchasing Specialist

Now we are seeking for a Construction services purchasing specialist for an assignment i Skellefteå at our customer within battery manufacturing.

Description

Looking for a strong Construction Services Purchasing specialist to work from Skellefteå office as a parental cover for a 4-6 month period with an extension possibility.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Establish framework agreements with various vendors across different categories within Construction Services with improved terms and pricing
- Deploy procurement strategies and collaborates with internal stakeholders
- Work with Construction, Indirect, Equipment and Operations teams to develop requirements and specifications and develop sourcing strategies to fulfill the needs
- Manage the Request for Quotations (RFQs) process and Purchase Orders : from RFQs launch, commercial meetings, negotiation rounds, till vendor selection and Purchasing Orders creation.
- Develop a strong understanding and knowledge of suppliers and capabilities across all customer markets
- Contribute to spend category management strategies and action plans across all customer entities * Develop spend analysis and identify cost optimization opportunities
- Maintain and develop new supplier relationships
- Monitor agreements, and be responsible for negotiating or concluding the agreements on time.


Your background

At least 10 years of experience within construction purchasing with excellent track-record. Excellent English written and oral skills to ensure smooth and efficient communication.
