Consultant Apps DBA

Strong working Knowledge of Microsoft SQL 2005/2008/2012 administration.
Knowledge in installation, backup, and restoring of SQL databases.
Database administration skills with an emphasis on enterprise scale architecture.
Knowledge of database security methodologies.
Understanding of business continuity and disaster recovery processes and procedures
Knowledge of clustering and replication.
Ability to use Microsoft tools to troubleshoot logic, syntax, and deadlock issues.
Strong understanding of ITIL processes - Incident, Problem and Change management "
Ability to work on multiple complex projects/ tasks simultaneously.
Job Responsibilities:


- Responsible for configuring the infrastructure and installing applications on Windows IIS hosted platform.
- Working with application teams examining deployment requirements (hardware and software requirements).
- Reviewing application installation documentation.
- Executing the install.
- Automating the installation process.
- Ensuring that the installation is done in accordance with standards and best practices.
