Consultant Optometrist till Essilor

Essilor Instruments Sweden team is looking for a new team member, a Consultant Optometrist, who will profitably develop diagnostic ophthalmic equipment sales in Sweden and Denmark. We think the ideal candidate is based in Stockholm or the south of Sweden due to extensive traveling.
You will need to represent Essilor and our instruments in the best way.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Consulting customers on best practice use of Essilor instruments
● Organizing consults visits to optical companies to sell diagnostic ophthalmic equipment in cooperation with the sales team
● Presenting instruments at events and trade shows
● Organizing sales visits and demonstrate the needed instruments
● Excellent skills in name branding and marketing of the equipment
● Installing equipment on-site at the customer (good level of knowledge of software) when needed
● Developing teams’ knowledge of diagnostic equipment and instruments
● Provide reports to country Manager Instruments
● Continually monitor the market to maintain an understanding of competitor activity
● Maintain administration systems appropriately


KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR ROLE:
● Experience working as an Optician - Experience in the ophthalmic optics market
● Knowledge and use of diagnostic equipment including OCTS’s, Retinal Cameras, slit lamps, Kertometers, Phoroptors, Tonometers, Topographs, and Field screeners
● Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to quickly learn new software
● Excellent communication skills both written and verbal in English, Swedish (Danish is an advantage)
● Team-player and also able to work independently
● Sales Targeted
● good customer's service
● Flexible and ready to travel extensively across Sweden and Denmark (estimated 2-3 days/week)


Desirable
● Knowledge of Essilor diagnostic equipment
● Use of Salesforce
● Use of OCT Angio
● Knowledge of Myopia control/special lenses
● Knowledge of Dry Eye treatment
● Driving license
