Team Martech EMEA
Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) is the unit within Volvo Car Group that is responsible for all commercial activities in the EMEA markets, through our National Sales Companies, Importers and Retail Partners.
Volvo Cars is undertaking a deep digital transformation. We are investing in new platforms with the ambition to drive our digital marketing and CX agenda. As part of this strategy we have recently created Team Martech EMEA: a team of about 10 CRM and marketing technology experts who deliver coaching, training and innovation on our Salesforce marketing stack to deliver personalized direct consumer communications in email, mobile, social and paid channels.
What’s in it for you?
In this role, you will be responsible to optimize the collection, segmentation and quality of the consumer data for EMEA. Consumer data is a critical asset for Volvo Cars and we need someone to ensure we manage it in the best possible way. The complexity of our customer journey as well as the multiple systems and stakeholders involved make our data landscape rather fragmented. Your job will be to master that complexity and leverage the customer and business benefits. While you will focus primarily on CRM data (eg. customer personal information) for the purpose of email and mobile marketing you will also drive the usage of first party data in paid channels.
What you’ll do:
• Generate complex segmentation to target specific consumer groups in direct and paid digital channels
• Understand, analyse and influence the VCC data landscape, data flows, data logic and metadata
• Identified possible data quality issues and drive the enrichment of our current database
• Place requirements with the technical teams and provide support to deliver a new solution
• Support EMEA markets and Martech specialists with data-related requests
• Develop strategies and tactics optimizing first party data usage, advanced analytics and data modeling
• Support the production of training materials in different formats to feed the Academy
• Understand the broader Martech eco-system and act as an evangelist in the EMEA marketing community
Location
EMEA operates from Volvo Cars headquarter in Gothenburg, Sweden. It is therefore the preferred location for the ideal candidate. Alternative locations in Europe can be discussed.
Do you fit the profile?
We are looking for you who have both passion for and proven expertise in consumer / CRM data segmentation in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (preferred). The ideal candidate will have a tech/data background and a business sense to coach and train EMEA markets. Your technical capabilities will be key to success in this job.
You also have:
• A Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent relevant areas
• An experience with consumer data governance
• A hands-on experience with consumer data segmentation for marketing automations (preferably in Salesforce)
• Familiarity with advanced analytics, machine learning and predictive data models
• A good understanding of GDPR and privacy regulations in general
• An understanding of adtech, DMP and paid digital marketing
• Knowledge of SQL. Hands-on experience with Salesforce and Tableau is a plus.
• English fluency. It will be your daily working language.
