This job gives you the unique opportunity to drive our Consumer Experience strategy for a brand that makes an impact across the globe – you will be part of shaping our story from the very first chapter. The CX team mission is to create relationships where consumers fall and stay in love with Volvo Cars. We are designing customer centric experiences where digital, physical and human interactions play in harmony to deliver personal and meaningful relationships.
The Consumer Experience and Relationship Strategy role is an instrumental part of pointing out and developing the direction for key holistic experiences. Whether it is the strategic roadmap and programs for consumer loyalty, future of physical retail, electrification, or a completely new innovative experience – the Volvo Cars brand is in all consumer journeys and in all touchpoints. You will be working closely with stakeholders across brand, business, UX and commercial offer when imagining the art of the possible.
What you´ll do
We are seeking a committed and passionate colleague who challenges the status quo in an industry filled with opportunities to use inspiration from outside-of-industry CX trail blazers from areas such as hospitality, retail or financial services. In your daily work you will be driving the strategy for a defined consumer experience area, ensuring that it fits the overall roadmap and delivers on the overarching consumer experience vision. Furthermore, you will be role modelling the consumer’s interest in different agendas across the company, ensuring that we design our services and experiences from an outside in perspective. Design thinking and service design needs to be part of your skills and personality.
We are a flat organization with a go-get-attitude, and we act as a strong team that get things done in a collaborative way. You will drive the global development while also support other central and regional operations. You will be part of the Global Marketing & Brand Team.
You and your skills
* Bachelor’s degree in business management, digital marketing, consumer experience or equivalent education
* 5+ years of global strategic experience of developing complex consumer services or loyalty programs, applying fluently Design Thinking / Service Design
* Proven global high-profile deliverables in CX, UX, Data or CRM, or in digital and physical product development as a Product, Customer or Loyalty Manager
* Strong understanding of and track record of creating customer and business value from improving consumer experiences
* Sense of consumer trends and behavior, and using any available methods and a dedicated advocate of a user centered approach
* Evangelize the use of consumer data and insights within the company by creating new opportunities for the use of data and automation with performance impact
* Ability to manage time wisely across projects and competing priorities, meet agreed upon deadlines, and be accountable for work
* Ability to tell a great story through excellent presentation and interpersonal communication skills
