MSF Sweden is a respected and visible actor for humanitarian principles and action in the Swedish civil society, with a strong presence in media.MSF Sweden was founded by Swedish doctors in 1993.As a partner in the international MSF movement, MSF Sweden exists to assist populations in danger by recruiting medical and non-medical fieldworkers, by raising funds and by raising awareness and provoke change through the act of témoignage (bear witness), or advocacy.
Since its foundation, the Swedish section has grown at an impressive rate.In 2008, the Swedish section had 105 departures of field workers to the field.A board consist of nine national and two international members and represents the association.The office of MSF Sweden consists of 28 full-time positions and around 50 committed office volunteers.
RAISON D'ETRE , MISSION AND NATURE OF THE POSITION
-To increase the fundraising capacity of MSF-Sweden to ensure resources for MSF's work and mission.
- To be an active part of strengthening the fundraising team in Sweden and support all external fundraising communication activities.
- To increase funds raised in Sweden by managing and further developing all fundraising materials and communications, including web.
MAIN ACTIVITIES
-General responsibility for the contents of the fundraising communication
- Responsible for ensuring and controlling tonality, identity and language of all fundraising communication
- Responsible for the Direct Marketing (DM) towards donors
- Responsible for the entire production process of DM to donors.
- Responsible for liaising strongly with the loyalty fundraising regarding volumes, budgets, targets, versions etc.
- Responsible for cost budget of DM (not income).
- Responsible for all creation and production of printed and web material needed by the fundraising department, in close collaboration with the persons responsible.
- Responsible and focal point for fundraising parts of MSF-Sweden's website including both creating and publishing content, technical solutions as well as managing the payment portal.
- Responsible within the fundraising team for the graphic identity, including the Identity manual.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Documented experience in project management towards strict deadlines
- Experience from working with a content management system
- Skilled in working with text and images, filter key aspects from an information flow and choosing images supporting the message.
- Ability to plan, organise and prioritise work in an efficient way to keep deadlines
- Good communication skills, including fluency in written and spoken Swedish and English.
- Good marketing knowledge, hold a university degree in marketing or similar.
VALUABLE
- Experience from producing printed material supported by a supplier
- Experience from working in Episerver
- Experience in handling a payment portal supported by a supplier
- Good computer skills, MS Office package or equivalent, Photoshop and Indesign
