An opportunity has arisen for a Content Designer to join our small in-house creative team. The purpose of this role is to create, design and produce intriguing digital content and creative assets for all touchpoints in our customer journey. It’s all about being customer centric, creating content to meet our customers’ needs and enhance the customer experience as well as meeting organisational goals. It will be your mission to think holistically through the customer journey to develop strategic content solutions. As Content Designer you will work with multiple formats and successfully contribute to a wide variety of content platforms. You will work cross-functionally to help create the perfect customer experience.
Some of your key responsibilities:
• Responsible for translating marketing objectives into clear creative strategies and ideas
• Responsible for the planning, design and production (from concept to completion) of a wide range of high-quality content assets for the customer journey and reasons for travel
• Responsible for in-house video creation and product photography from storyboarding through to final output
• Responsible for researching, brainstorming and collaboration initiatives with the Content team as well with as other teams for new ideas and content strategies
• Using data, insights and research to identify opportunities for content creation and content optimization
• Monitoring and analysing key performance indicators to continually optimize content
• Leading creative workshops. Act as thought leader on the latest design trends and thinking and share that knowledge with stakeholders
• Articulately and persuasively present content solutions to key stakeholders
• Be meticulous in contributing to a clean content management system
• Work cross-functionally to help create the perfect user experience and ensure alignment with Group Travel aims
• Contribute to the broader success of the Creative team by playing a creative mentoring and coaching role to other team members and those in other functional teams

Who you are

With an exceptional eye for detail, you have the ability to develop content that is on-brand and provokes engagement. A true passion for digital, interaction and customer journey design is a must! You also have excellent communication skills and know how to interpret as well as negotiate briefs and present solutions to stakeholders. You are highly organised with a great ability to prioritise and meet deadlines. We believe collaboration makes us stronger, so you need to be a true team player at heart, always open to share your knowledge and coach your colleagues in your area of expertise.
The must-haves:
• Relevant experience in digital asset design across a wide range of applications and formats. An up-to-date portfolio with design examples across multiple media formats is required
• A qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Arts or Visual Communications, or similar is essential
• Understanding of content marketing tactics, such as SEO, digital advertising, and social media marketing
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud suite applications to create still images and motion-based design
• Experience in product-based photography is required
• High proficiency and skill in creating video content. Experienced with video editing tools as well as concepts such as colour correction, colour grading and audio editing
• Experience working with/designing for content management systems
• Deep understanding of how digital solutions can improve customer experiences
• Fluency in spoken and written English is essential
