Job Description


We are now looking for a skilled Content Editor with strong storytelling and digital communications skills. You will take part in H&M Group Communications’ 360 omni channel planning, production and publication process and ensure our publications follow H&M Group brand ID (tone of voice and image ID). Your main responsibility is to produce inspiring content and messages that are relevant and up to date for the targeted audiences. Together with the team you will contribute to development of our working methods and channels and explore new and inspirational ways to communicate and engage with our different target groups. Co-creation with different functions will be key in order to succeed with our mission.
You will report to the Head of Content Strategy and be part of the Content team. This is a full-time permanent position based in Stockholm and starting date is as soon as possible.
Your responsibilities:
Key tasks include writing articles, proofread, restructure and edit text, image and film.
Production leadership from a to z: research, plan, produce and publish compelling editorial suitable assets for H&M Group’s internal and external communication channels, based on identified needs, existing communications and/or activity planning.
You ensure timings and quality of the content produced is according to H&M Group’s guidelines, tone-of-voice and time schedules.
Performance follow up of the projects you are part of.
Contribute to maintenance and development of our channels.
Internal coordination, within the department and cross-functional, to ensure smooth co-creation.
Communications service and support within the department and within H&M Group
Participation and support of various corporate communications projects to ensure relevant competences and knowledge in each project (internal and external, if needed).
Research new opportunities within your field of work and find creative solutions to ensure the produced content is relevant, effective and up to date.
Inspire development of our methods and way-of-working.
As part of H&M Group Communications and the Content team, contribute to the overall goals of the team and department.





Qualifications


Formal education in communication, journalism and/or copy writing (or equivalent)
+5 years working experience with content production and communication
Excellent spelling and punctuation skills in English, both spoken and written
Well-documented image editing experience and an ability for composition and details
Experience of production management from A to Z
Advanced understanding of communication processes and how to target content for relevant audiences in digital and traditional media channels (omni-channel approach)
Ability to lead creative processes with good facilitation and to contribute to the vision through clear briefs
Experience from working independently with content management systems (e.g. WordPress)
Experience with SEO is meritorious
Experience from agile working processes is meritorious
Experience from working in a communications department, media house or content agency is meritorious
