Right now, we’re searching for a Content Protection Coordinator in our Stockholm office - are you ready to hit play on an exciting career change?

The role
The Content Protection Coordinator´s main task is to establish a structured process to accomplish enough and equivalent content protection according to the value and requirements of the content. This process includes the identification and handling of important risks. The role is to coordinate all work within the area for Viaplay Group at a global level, both day to day and long term. The role involves engaging key stakeholders in strategic decisions, important risks, prioritization, and financial decisions. You will cooperate with other teams in product, data & tech but also our legal, commercial and content functions.



Some of your daily tasks will include:

- First point of contact for internal and external errands regarding content protection.
- Basic investigations into piracy services.
- Coordinate and negotiate to achieve reasonable contracts regarding content protection, including the creation of suitable prerequisite to facilitate that.
- Identification of existing, lacking and functioning security controls and act as a catalyst to implement or improve existing security controls related to content.
- Handle, evaluate and strive for improvement and efficiency of detection of piracy and related incidents.
- Establish and manage suitable internal forums to present identified risks and to recommend how to handle risks.
- Establish and manage suitable external cooperation’s that efficiently support the content protection area for Viaplay Group.
- Influence future prerequisites within the content protection area affecting Viaplay Group.


What we’re looking for
We understand you may feel confident ticking certain boxes more than others and that’s why we always keep an open mind in our recruitment process. But, in order to thrive in this role, we do believe you’ll have at least some experience in the following:

- Knowledge about the piracy landscape and the threats the entertainment industry faces in relation to copyright infringement.
- Basic experience doing online investigations using open source tooling.
- Basic knowledge in HTTP, TCP Networking and DNS.
- Knowledge about the content workflow, from production to a user’s device.
- The ability to define goals, build a strategic roadmap, create clarity, and oranizational engagement towards them. 
- A curious mindset and a positive attitude towards problem-solving. You aim for something better, and question what we take for granted.
- Experience in working on both an operational and a strategic level. 
- A general interest in technology and systems, understanding that tech plays a key role in the way forward.
