Xylem is seeking a Continuous Improvements (CI) Manager to Emmaboda
To our top modern factory in the middle of Småland, Sweden, we are now seeking a Continuous Improvement (CI) Manager to join our high-performing team of 1300 employees. Xylem´s largest factory is in Emmaboda. The manufacturing process includes everything from casting to finished product, in our case submersible pumps, mixers and turbines. In addition to our manufacturing processes, at the site there are functions such as finance, quality, HR, EHS, and IT as well as our distribution center.
We are searching for an energetic person to drive our continuous improvement program in Emmaboda.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with the right background looking to expand the depth of their operational excellence scope with great possibility to influence and shape the company’s future.
Responsibilities
Coach, train and lead management, supervisors, and employees at Emmaboda site to embrace the culture of never-ending improvement in safety, productivity, quality, cost and delivery in order to reach best-in-class level.
Establish local CI standards at Emmaboda site based on corporate standards for Xylem Production System, participating in the global Xylem CI network.
Build and cross functionally lead and coach a team of local CI Specialists throughout the Emmaboda site.
Develop a culture of continuous improvement by using Lean & Six Sigma Manufacturing tools.

Qualifications and Experience
An academic degree within relevant field. Experience from a continuous improvement role within industry sector.
Certification in Lean Master or Six Sigma Black Belt
Proven capability to lead change in a team environment.
Hands-on experience using CI methods, for example 5S, Standard Work, Daily Management, TPM, SMED, VSM, Visual Management
Strong analytical skills.
Able to manage multiple projects/activities across processes and functions.
A collaborative and solution-focused approach.
Strong written and spoken communication skills.
Previous manager experience is a plus.
