Our Exciting Opportunity
We use Cloud-native technologies and tools to develop 5G products on a container-based micro-service architecture. We are strengthening the development of our container-based network functions (NF) and are looking for developers in the Cloud Native Core area to work with continuous integration (CI) automation.
Our focus is on Lean and Agile ways of working. We are a multi-functional development team where continuous improvement, innovation and sharing knowledge are parts of the daily work.
Early customer and partner feedback are key elements in our development process which is based on Continuous Integration Software practices. Our teams are cross-functional, self-organizing, self-empowered and highly independent. You’ll be working directly with your Product Owner in a collaborative manner. This requires maturity and a ‘team-first’ approach which we believe is the best way to build excellent software.

You will
Together with your team develop robust fully automated CI systems using Cloud-native technologies. The goal is to evolve our environments through automation and infrastructure-as-code. Quality is the essence in all we do, and we need to continuously improve this in both products and processes. You will collaborate with various interfaces within Ericsson and have opportunity to grow your network as well as share information with the team.
When you do this you will help in delivering results and meet customer expectations.

To be successful in the role you must have
Good knowledge of development of automated systems
Experienced in Golang, Java and Python
Good knowledge of Container technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, Helm)
Knowledge of Software craftmanship and tools e.g. Jenkins, Git and Gerrit
Experienced in using Linux as development and target environment
Experience of Virtualization (Kernel-based Virtual Machine (KVM), VMware, OpenStack, etc.)
Education: MSc in Computer Science or similar MSc level in a technical field or the equivalent level of knowledge


Additional Requirements
Proficient in English
Passion to explore new insights and address future opportunities and improvements!
Experience from Cloud Packet Core products is highly valued
Curious personality with a holistic view. Person who likes working with exciting tasks where decisions often need to be taken based on information from different partners and investigations
Teammate with a positive “can-do” mentality
