Continuous Improvement (CI) Team Member,

Gate Gourmet is a global company with operations throughout the world. At Gate Gourmet Arlanda we produce, package and deliver catering to our customers who is made up of some thirty airlines. We have units in Stockholm-Arlanda, Gothenburg- Landvetter and Malmö-Sturup We are looking for a Continuous Improvement Team Member, based at Arlanda Airport. This position is suitable for a student in Industrial Engineering or in related field You will be a part of a team and will be leading projects and Kaizens and will be conduction training to employees, enabling LeanSixSigma tools and methodologies to drive Continuous Improvement. You will act as a change agent to grow the LeanSixSigma culture within the organization. The position reports to the Jr. Continuous Improvement Manager Sweden. Key tasks: * Support the CI by leading projects and kaizens with focus on operations * Assist in developing and conducting new lean trainings and tools as required by the Business. * Support project managers and other functions in projects. * Assist in completing Gate Gourmets LeanSixSigma Black Belt training * Assess project review sessions Key skills: * Be able to take on a leadership role in some projects and prior project management experience is an advantage but not a requirement. * Previous experience in Airline Catering business will be an advantage Education: * Studies in Industrial Engineering or in related field * Good verbal and written communications skills in both English and Swedish to be able to train employees and to give and write instructions.
