HemoCue is seeking a Continuous Improvement Leader. This role is responsible for demonstrating Lean methodology combined with problem-solving tools as a key strategy to deliver on important goals.

To become successful in this position, you need to continuously challenge the current state by leading change and work on identifying the greatest Lean opportunities together with your colleagues. On top of this, you will collaborate with leaders to drive and support the Improvement Culture within all of HemoCue and work with improvements where needed.

What you will be doing
Drive targeted, sustainable improvements, which are tied to Operations strategy – by using our tools, consulting skills, and change management such as problem-solving, Hoshin Kanri, or as we call it within Danaher- Policy Deployment, ADKAR, Kaizen events, and Daily Management
Support Kaizen Events, by being active in Planning them, facilitating them when needed, and following up on Sustainment
Provide formal and informal training and coaching. Evolve and apply tools as appropriate to get results
Improve our training and facilitation skills by pursuing certification in Danaher Business System (DBS) tools within Lean, Growth, Leadership
Further develop our improvement culture by establishing systematic work regarding HemoCue's DBS roadmap.
Drive organizational awareness and curiosity about improvement work and DBS tools

What we need to see
BSc or BA Degree in Engineering/ Science/ Industrial finance
Lean manufacturing (related) training

5+years of demonstrated experience of relevant experience in the Operations or Project Management field with extensive Gemba-based continuous improvement-based tools/techniques.
Experience in and proficiency to apply Lean principles and ”DBS like” tools in a variety of situations.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams globally
Independence and good judgment, a positive attitude, and an innovative spirit
Leadership and team facilitation skills
Excellent verbal and written communication/ presentation skills in Swedish and English.
