As our new colleague and Continuous Improvement Manager for our production facility in Örnsköldsvik, you will have the possibility to contribute to our growth and gain personal development. Continuous improvement and quality are some of the most important components of this position and you will influence and work with challenging projects.
YOU WILL
As our Continuous Improvement Manager, you will be part of our site in Örnsköldsvik, ensuring efficient work processes and establishing a culture for continuous improvements. Furthermore, you will facilitate the onsite rollout and maintenance of the Leading Performance System which is a harmonized way of working. An important part of the role is to contribute to and make sure that our production is going according to the plans. This can include, among other things, optimization of processes as well as reacting to deviating quality in our production by using CI tools and methods according to Lean and Six Sigma. As a member of the local management team in Örnsköldsvik, you will play a crucial role in the continued success of the site. In this role you will report directly to the Site Manager.
Main responsibilities:
- Act as change agent at the site and lead continuous improvement of lean concept
- Support the site leadership in improvement, project idea generation, project chartering, action planning, implementation and change management
- Development of visual systems and transfer of identified good practices in a standardized network approach
- Build organizational alignment while consistently building awareness of KPI’s
- Develop control plans, as necessary, to ensure improvement results are effective and survivable over time
YOU ARE
You will work for and maintain a culture of continuous improvement and we believe that you succeed in this by having a natural way of coaching and by getting others to reach their goals. This role will require you to be analytical, understand what needs to be prioritized and to be able to find solutions to problems. By being a good team player, you know how to build your own network and possess the ability to gain respect and trust through situational leadership and integrity. We also believe that you are risk-friendly and self-directed, able to take a decision quickly within uncertainty.
We expect you to have documented experience of working within a similar area. In addition to that, you need to have a great interest in the process industry and production technology as well as experience in continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma and TPM. With your strong analysis and problem-solving skills, you will have the ability to identify and structure issues, run accurate (also statistical) analysis and synthesize recommendations. We also expect you to have a Bachelor’s degree within a relevant field and to be fluent in Swedish written and oral.
