Continuous Integration Developer to our new, small radar

The person we are looking for will strive to create the smoothest build and deliver chain across Saab.





Your role

As a developer with the primary focus on the build and configuration pipeline, your mission is to enhance
on our current pipeline to make it a breeze to deliver high quality integration builds and product-ready customer
configurations. This includes improving the build system, adding quality checks, managing configurations, and
bringing G1X into the future together with the rest of us.

The G1X SW/FW team develops most, and integrates all, of the software required to run SAABs G1X radar.



Your main tasks are:

Work towards the dream of rock-stable builds

Catch errors as early in the chain as possible
*

Make it easy to transform our base product into customer configurations
*

Manage, version, and document our software deliveries
*

Be the prime enabler in our delivery chain, from build to delivery



Your profile

We believe that you are curious and always looking ahead. When others are waiting for instructions,
you are already trying out possible solutions. Since we are a small team with a broad responsibility, you will
need to have an urge to take lead on your own main responsibilities, but at the same time make sure that the
rest of the team is keeping up with you.



Required skills:

We are working with gradle and git as our main tools for the build pipeline.
If you have experience in artifactory and jenkins it will be a merit.



This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.



What you will be a part of

The G1X SW/FW-team is a group of about 15 individuals with competences ranging from firmware/VHDL development, through Linux, up to application development within the radar control and signal processing area. The team takes full responsibility of all firmware and software in the G1X Radar system, they develop most of it within the team and integrates the rest.
