Contract Manager

Your workplace[ Saab Avitronics, a business unit within the Saab-group, develops and manufactures advanced electronics mostly for aeroplanes and helicopters. Contracting is a support function within the business unit, reporting directly to the President. We are currently a group of three people (two located in Sweden and one in South Africa), working closely with our Business Development, Marketing and Sales functions as well as with Saab's corporate Legal Affairs staff. Negotiations with customers and partners are an important part of our work, and we must be prepared to travel world-wide for this purpose. Your role[ As Contract Manager, your responsibilities are to * author legally binding agreements, such as commercial contracts, confidentiality agreements and cooperation agreements * review and mark-up of agreements * participate in bid and proposal preparation, with responsibility for the contractual terms and conditions to be included in our proposals * lead or participate in negotiations with potential partners and customers. [ Your qualifications Following are essential qualifications for this position:[ * education in company law and/or business management * excellent communication skills in international environments documented experience from commercial and business activities[ several years documented experience from drafting, negotiating and/or executing commercial agreements with international companies and/or government agencies [basic understanding of the legal framework for international trade excellent skills in written and spoken Swedish and English[ In addition, the following qualifications are desirable: * [training and experience in commercial negotiations in a multi-national environment * experience from and interest in the defence and/or aerospace market * working knowledge in additional languages, such as German and French
