As a Contract Manager you will be part of a global team that will facilitate and support the HR Services (HRS) organization to deliver on strategic intent and operational targets and continuously improve performance in compliance with relevant rules, guidelines and regulations. As Contract Manager you will maintain provider/supplier contracts, safeguard contract compliance and coordinate tenders (from a business perspective). You will also contribute to the overall HRS performance management by securing adequate reporting of metrics from key suppliers.

Main tasks and responsibilities
Leading and coordinating activities to improve the competitiveness of HRS operations in cooperation with relevant stakeholders. The Contract Manager will own the HRS contract master file and be responsible for central coordination and steering of the external suppliers contracted by HR Services.
As Contract Manager you are part of the Operational Excellence team and report to the Director of Operational Excellence. As a member of the team you are also expected to pick up and drive other team topics based on overall HRS prioritization and allocation made within the team.
Key deliverables and activities:
Provider/supplier contracts lifecycle management
Safeguard contract compliance and feed in to the HRS compliance and risk reporting when applicable
Coordinate tenders (business perspective)
Secure KPI reporting by suppliers
Coordinate and feed supplier relevant topics into the yearly business plan process for HRS
Build and manage a compliant and efficient structure (supplier master file) in which to classify and have overview of suppliers
Being a partner to the managers within HRS through leading and coaching activities and securing a holistic view and overall value for HR Services.
Be the single point of contact to Vattenfall Procurement
Actively contribute to effective and efficient governance structures – both internal and with external providers.




Your characteristics and qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree within a relevant field
Fluency in English, both written and spoken
Proven skills and worklife experience in working with managing and maintaining contractual agreements with suppliers, preferably as a Contract Manager or equivalent


Experience in working with HR services and processes will be considered a merit as well as experience in developing processes and structures. Skills in usage of Microsoft applications, especially MS Excel will be highly beneficial for the position.

As a person you will probably be characterized as being self-driven, with social skills, cooperation abilities and business awareness. You have furthermore an analytical problem-solving ability and work in a very structured way.
