Are you a communicative, initiative-taking and organized person who is looking for new challenges? We are looking for a highly motivated candidate for the role of Contract Manager who will join our team of professionals in MacGregor’s family.
You will be a part of our business development, which means maintenance development at the customer and growth of the contract business. Through effective project management, you act as the spider in the web internally and externally for our design to build contracts.
You will work in close collaboration with Shipyards and ship owners and internally with the contract organization. This role is part of our MSD/Cargo Access Solutions division and reports directly to the Director, Contract Management, Installation & Commissioning.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
As a Contract Manager you make sure that all contract objectives are met, the contract is executed on time and within the budget. You have functional responsibility for the Contract Group (Design, Purchasing, Production Control and Installation) and monitor contract progress and budget. As a Contract Manager you will be the prime point of contact with customers during the contract period.
Other responsibilities:
Ensure that the Validation meeting takes place and is documented
Ensure that Contract Follow- up meetings take place and are documented
Ensure that Close- Out meeting takes place to share feedback and document accordingly
Regular updating of the contract program to ensure milestones are adhered to.

What you’ll need to succeed:
M.Sc, B.Sc, or similar advanced degree in business, law or other technical field
6+ years of experience with International project management activities
Project management competence.

As a person you are an enthusiastic “problem solving” person with high energy and a service minded attitude. You have good leadership and team management skills. You have a high financial understanding and proven negotiation skills. You have experience and feel comfortable in working in all parts such as reporting, contract management and planning. You are fluent in English - both written and spoken.
