Job description
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Contact Manager to ensure the successful development, implementation and compliance of strategic commercial approaches. Based on contract type ensuring the definition and implementation of Contract Management processes and guidelines in the Region. 

The Contact Manager is also responsible for providing commercial assessment of terms and conditions, risks, and assumptions during the Bid Phase, overseeing major claims preparation and disputes handling in accordance with contract provisions, and managing major variation orders. This role will also oversee the proper implementation of contractual strategy and documentation related to contract closure, extension, or renewal.

Responsibilities


Ensure the development, implementation, and compliance of appropriate strategic commercial approach, based on contract type (i.e. EPC, FFP, T&M, PPP, etc.).
Ensure the definition of Contract Management processes, procedures, guidelines, forms, and templates in the Region.
Provide commercial assessment of terms and conditions, risks, and assumptions during Bid Phase.
Ensure the development and implementation of a contract management archive (i.e. maintenance of contractual records and documentation, contract correspondence, contractual changes, status reports, tools, etc.).
Monitor and support reporting on all customer, JV/Partner, and sub-contractor contract-related commercial impacts and risks, to or from RSBU.
Identify and monitor key or strategic project contracts to ensure compliance until completion.
Oversee and provide guidance on major claims preparation support and disputes handling in accordance with contract provisions.
Provide timely support to ensure proper negotiation and management of major variation orders to optimize returns.
Ensure the proper implementation of contractual strategy and documentation related to contract closeout, extension, or renewal of agreements. 




Qualifications


A minimum of Degree level in Contract Law, and or Quantity Surveying and or professional institute qualifications Svenska Byggindustrier (SBI) or Föreningen Sveriges Stadsbyggare (FSS)
Experience as a Contract Manager from the industries railway, construction, nuclear, mechanical or electrical
Commercial acumen and the ability to manage contracts and contractual issues
Experience and ability to manage subcontractor accounts, including disputes
Good understanding of Swedish / Danish contract conditions
Fluent in English and Swedish
Be able to travel to and work in Stockholm, Denmark and the Baltic countries


Advantageous
Experience working in large organizations and projects
Working experience outside of Sweden 
Technical background or/and interest
Driver license
