Mölnlycke is now looking for a Contract Manufacturing Manager to join the Global Procurement – Wound Care team. The job will involve acting as a valued member of the team working with Mölnlyckes future focus innovations areas, within Negative Pressure Wound Therapy, as well as Oxygen Therapy. This position will be placed at our global HQ in Gothenburg, Sweden.
The aim of this position is to:
Establish a consistent high-quality supply chain to ensure the supply of purchased products are in line with demand and are recognized as world class.
Deploy strategic direction for the function to secure best in class internal and external manufacturing.
Drive improvement projects to meet defined future requirements.
Your tasks will include:
Contribute to, and drive implementation of assigned Categories of the Procurement strategy to ensure satisfactory supplier performance with regards to innovation, quality, service level and Cogs.
Handle commercial and supply related matters for Contract Manufacturing.
Negotiate and establish Frame Agreements and Quality Agreement (MD) to ensure the formal
aspects of supplier relations.
Perform benchmarking to support make-or-buy decisions.
Perform cost saving activities with assigned suppliers to ensure lowest market cost.
Continuously perform follow ups of KPI´s to ensure targeted goals.
Identify new supply markets and long-term trends in order to develop, test and launch new products.

What you’ll need
Minimum 5 years’ experience in strategic, international purchasing
Manufacturing understanding
Academic Business and/or Technical degree
Analytical and strategic skills
Strong relationship building and negotiation skills
Language skills – English
Experience from the medical device industry, manufacturing/supply chain and electronics purchasing is seen as an advantage
To be successful in this role, you take initiative, have a strong business acumen with a preference to think outside of the box and have a continuous improvement mindset.

Global travelling to own units and suppliers is required from time to time, with an estimated volume of approx. 30-40 travel days per year.
