Contracts Manager

Johnson Controls provide Pharma Services solutions within the Life Science Industry and is now looking for a Contracts Manager for one of our accounts covering multiple sites in Sweden and in the UK.

The Contracts Manager performs all activities necessary to accomplish within cost, schedule and quality objectives, the procurement of a wide variety of complex material and service requirements as required to fulfill the material needs of the Pharma Services teams for the assigned scope. Achieves established cost improvement goals under minimal direction, negotiates and maintains contracts for subcontract services at the Pharma Services Account. Implements and maintains superior supply base management techniques and consolidated solution sourcing. Typically manages and negotiates multiple contracts with a total cost of at least $2 Million.

- You have a Bachelor´s degree in business or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of five years of purchasing experience including managing suppliers in a Buyer/Manager role with demonstrated success at improving delivery, cost reduction, and increasing quality performance.
- Knowledge of, and experience of working with the Life Science industry supplier base, including analytical instrument OEM?s, service providers and consumables vendors is preferable.
- Demonstrated strong negotiation skills and experience. Demonstrated leadership, team leading and communication skills as well as being able to effectively operate in a participative management environment.
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to lead multi-functional teams.
- Experience in using Microsoft Office Suite and web-based applications. Excellent presentation and communication skills and MS Office literacy required.
- Require the ability to travel.
