Contracts Manager/Specialist Opportunity - Stockholm

We're on the lookout for a Contracts Manager or Specialist with a background in managing construction contracts or overseeing equipment installation. This role is a key part of our client’s mission to enhance how to engage with markets, partners, suppliers, and the broader community. The goal is to excel in procurement and contracting, and you could help us get there!

By joining the Contracts Team, you'll be working closely with our technical execution and procurement teams. Your role will focus on securing the best outcomes in contract negotiations and managing risks effectively.

Your role will involve:
• Being the go-to person for any inquiries related to business contracts, clarifying issues before and after contracts are finalized.
• Taking charge of overall contract project management in your domain, implementing effective controls over contractors.
• Crafting negotiation strategies alongside a cross-functional team, steering complex contract negotiations, strategic projects, and meetings for equipment supply.
• Sharing your contract management expertise to guide the procurement and technical teams in refining contract concepts and business models.
• Identifying and evaluating potential risks during the negotiation and lifespan of contracts with necessary internal stakeholders.

Additionally, you will:
• Engage in the commercial, technical, and tactical facets of our contracts, keeping a comprehensive view and considering the perspectives of various stakeholders.
• Apply a systematic approach to your work, operating with confidence and foresight, and collaboratively seeking the best solutions with the team. This includes valuing different attitudes, viewpoints, and cultures, which is central to our way of working.

What We're Looking For:
• A background in engineering, economics, or law (or a similar qualification).
• Experience in project management with a focus on contract management.
• Proven ability to handle complex negotiations with confidence.
• Ability to work with diverse, cross-functional, and international teams, influencing decision-makers at every level.
• A passion for working with contracts and delivering presentations.
• Skills in finding middle ground in complicated technical and legal discussions.
• A solution-oriented approach to business, skilled in tackling contractual issues.
• Experienced in managing negotiations in complex client situations, with strong persuasive abilities.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
