Mission
The mission for the Supply Chain Control Tower is to drive all global Supply Chain improvement initiatives by securing and continuously improve a high performing supply chain organization through superior analytics, insights and contributions to value improvement initiatives. The Supply Chain Improvement Performance Support’s responsibility is to run Supply Chain value improvement initiatives and drive continuous improvements in our global organization.
Job description – focus areas
Take over running of SC value improvement initiatives and drive continuous improvement, in collaboration with the Supply Chain & Controlling Manager and supported by two Central SC performance improvement support functions. Example improvement initiatives include but are not limited to:Roll-out and sustain inventory reduction program pilots to the different customer centers / regions
Further roll-out of global and regional inventory redistribution initiatives, and assuring redistribution continuity via this initiative
Collaboration with the Global Transportation Manager, Regional Supply Chain Managers and Service Organization to further reduce transportation cost
Availability monitoring, evaluation, root cause analysis and further driving the improvement initiatives
Understanding deviations between actuals reported, targets and forecasts maintained
Analysis and investigation of performance indicators such as (but not limited to) service level to customers, supply chain management costs and inventories
Work with Epiroc Regional Performance Managers and Epiroc entities to follow up on performance, identify root causes, define action plans with realistic time and resource plans, control implementation of actions
Support in monthly supply chain performance reporting process with principal divisions as well as the supply chain organization
Support supply chain contribution to annual business planning process


Personal requirements
To enjoy and succeed in the role as Supply Chain Improvement Performance Lead you should have a positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with all functions for the good of Epiroc. You are open to change and adaptable. You have strong analytical and problem solving skills as well as you are business and supply chain oriented. We also see that you and able to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels and have the ability to motivate and get things done in a matrix organization. As a person you are result driven, well organized and focused on continuous improvement – there is always a better way!

Education and experience
Degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management. Strong emphasis on quantitative skills / analysis (Engineering / Science, Economics). At least 2-5 years of relevant experience from Supply Chain in an international environment.
Good understanding / experience of Supply Chain analysis and implementation of supply chain initiatives in global, industrial environment.
Skillful MS Excel user
Strong English communication skills both verbal and written
Location
This role is to be located in Örebro.
