Controller who wants to make a difference - Financial Management Support

One of our team members is taking up a new challenging position and we are now looking forward to welcoming a new colleague to our team.

In recent years a common financial model has been developed in close cooperation with Sales & Service Management to enable efficiency and quality in financial processes.The model is the backbone in key information systems and as such plays a vital part in the accounting, closing and management reporting processes throughout the Sales & Service companies.The main assignment for our department is to maintain, further develop and promote the model on a global basis.

At Financial Management Support you will be given the opportunity to
- implement and further develop the Common Financial Model (CFM) for Scania Sales & Service companies globally together with other stakeholders
- give support in financial matters when Scania establishes/acquires new Sales & Service entities and give an active support when new financial managers are to be introduced
- participate in projects within the area of the CFOs responsibilities
- create a good network on various levels throughout the Scania global organisation.
- gain a unique insight in how the day-to-day processes are managed in a Scania Sales & Service company.

The successful candidate has
- a university degree in Business Administration or equivalent
- a good understanding of how to reflect business events into accounting and management reporting
- general good knowledge in accounting principles
- a co-operative and service-minded way of working
- a positive approach to a continuously changing environment
- an ability to work independently

Earlier experience from Scania Financial Reporting and/or the CFM is a merit.The position is located in Södertälje but will involve some international travelling.
