Controller Assisistant - EMEA

JOB DESCRIPTION Axis is a Swedish-based IT company, operating worldwide with sales offices in more than 20 countries and a net sale of sek 2 301 M (2009).We are about 800 employees (and constantly growing) of which 500 located at our HQ in Lund.As Controller assistant you will focus on our sales offices in Europe, Middle East and Africa and report directly to the regional controller for Europe, Middle East and Africa.Your main activities will include but not be limited to: maintain and update credit limits and credit conditions in the customer ledger as well as handling the daily work with credit blocked orders contribute to lower the amount of credit days outstanding by working efficiently with reminders and collection collecting, validating and submitting monthly financial reports from the subsidiaries in the region supporting the organisation with regular reports based on financial data take temporary part in projects related to the activities in the Finance department handling general questions and reports related to the area of responsibility JOB QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for a service minded and driven person with ability to work without close supervision.It's important that you can handle multiple tasks and that you have a drive to develop within your work, taking on bigger tasks and performing tasks more independently. Furthermore you are structured, dependable and see great value in delivering results with high quality on time.Except from the above we believe you have the following qualifications: a Bachelor of Business Administration or equivalent qualifications a deep interest in working with figures and various financial analyses excellent knowledge in Excel fluent in English (written and verbal) the ability to handle multiple priorities and to work independently Previous experience from working in the IT industry or in a multinational company with international sales activities will be considered a merit.
